How to Cancel or Reschedule: As of 01/18/2023, We offer a self-service cancelation or reschedule feature if you booked through our website (third-party reservations excluded). You have two ways to access this feature. This feature is not available within 24 hours of your tour.

  • By Email – All emails sent through our reservation system will have a link allowing you to reschedule or cancel. Reference the attached photo
Often, it's easiest for us to text our response.
Please, understand our availability is real time. For the most part if it is showing nothing available, there is nothing available. It is highly recommended you book well in advance.

Already Booked? – If you have already made a reservation and are reaching out with questions, please, reply to your confirmation emails sent to you from This will keep our conversations organized.

Availability – Our availability is established at the start of the season. We run a skeleton crew of highly trained kayak guides. We don’t hire seasonal staff to fill the busy weeks. If you have clicked book now and the system shows no availability, there is no availability.

Large Groups – you have a large group of 10 or more, please fill out the contact form below, and we might be able to move some availabilities around.

TripAdvisor & Viator Bookings – You are held to a 24-hour Cancellation period with zero exceptions. If you need to cancel, reschedule or change numbers and you did not book directly with us, you must make those changes directly with TripAdvisor.

  • If someone can't find us or is late for whatever reason, there is a 98% chance they booked through TripAdvisor. 
  • TripAdvisor Bookings have a cancelation rate of 25% vs 8% if booked through our website.
  • Why do we make our tours bookable on TripAdvisor?
  • TripAdvisor is no longer an unbiased Review platform. It is a third-party travel agency. According to TA, we are the number one ranked kayak tour company, but if our tours weren't listed, you would never find our business on their platform. They not only make our business listing hard to find if we aren't bookable through their site they will also list bookable competitors on our own listing page.
  • These are just a few reasons why there is a strict 24-hour cancelation policy with TripAdvisor Bookings

If you book directly through our website, you will enjoy our detailed communication process post-booking. We are as transparent as possible with our cancelation policy and give you all the important information you will need after booking a guided tour with Adventure Paddle Tours. We pride ourselves in providing what we promised, and effective communication will provide the most exceptional service possible!

This email is comprehensive and will contain everything you need to know about your tour. It is important you check the tour date immediately!

This text includes a link to your booking receipt. We ask all guest to open the link and confirm all information is correct by replying "2fl"

36 Hour Email

Sent out 36 hours before your tour. The intent of this email is remind you of our 24-Hour cancelation policy and give you ample time to cancel for a full refund. To cancel or reschedule your tour simply open the email and click the links!

12 Hour Text

This is our last attempt to discourage no call no shows due to booking the incorrect date and gives you a google maps link to our location

TripAdvisor Bookings – TripAdvisor actively blocks our email communication, and they hide your email address from us. They also take a considerable commission. If you decide to book with TripAdvisor, you accept that there is zero chance of a refund within 24 hours of your booking. TripAdvisor also grades us on the number of cancellations we submit.
