EXPERIENCE FLORIDA WILDLIFE & MORE ON OUR NAPLES BOAT TOURS

Our 10,000 Islands Boat Tour provides guests with 3 hours of boating excitement. This tour launches from the Port of the Islands Marina, located at 525 Newport Drive in Naples, in the heart of a manatee marine protection zone. Within the protection zone, boaters can immediately expect to spot manatees, alligators, sharks, and numerous birds all while learning about the extensive inner mangrove habitat.

After spotting several manatees your United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain will safely navigate in and out of the 10,000 Islands, the namesake for the 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge. Here, there are literally 10,000 mangrove islands, mostly never inhabited by man. However, several larger and higher in elevation islands were settled, including Fakahatchee Island which was home to over 50 families as late as the 1960s. To this day, you are still able to see the pilings known as the Ruins. The ruins are remnants of the old fish house used to pack the catches of all the fishing locals.

After navigating the shallow bays and backwaters of the inner islands, guests are finally exposed to the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful outer islands. These islands are filled with undeveloped white sandy beaches that extend for miles and miles. Here guests are encouraged to hop out, stretch the legs, and enjoy all these beautiful islands have to offer.

ABOUT OUR BOAT

Our 24-foot fully customized pontoon boat named the Swamp Fox was rebuilt and completed in 2020 with the touring passengers in mind, the Swamp Fox is unlike any other boat in the Florida Everglades.

Our boat was designed specifically for a Naples boat tour. It runs fast, and shallow, and has been removed from any unwanted clutter. Super comfortable commercial bench seats with ample floor space give our guests plenty of room to move around. Our boat sports a hard-top storage bench that doubles as an elevated viewing platform, perfect for our younger guests who are unable to get a high vantage point. We want to make sure all guests get to experience the beauty of Florida’s wildlife while on our Naples boat tour.  EVERYTHING ABOUT THE BOAT REDESIGN HAD YOU IN MIND!
